Intro to Meditation: Peace
October 12th – November 16th
Mondays 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Fall comes with cooler weather, cozy sweaters & the Holiday season on the mind. This is a fantastic time to go inward & relax the mind.
Next Monday, Oct. 12th we are starting back up with 6 more weeks filled with different meditation methods. This session will be Meditations for Peace. In these meditations you will come to learn different ways to relieve stress from the outside world. Relaxing the mind; letting go of those overwhelming thoughts.
The classes will include Mudras, Simple ways on relieving the mind from overthinking. As well as, using the breath to anchor yourself into the present moment.

Church Fellowship Groups
Women's Support Group
The Women’s group works on various mission, program, worship, study and informal fun projects, and enjoys fellowship with one another. Women of all ages are invited. They meet approximately once a month from September to May.
Men’s Group
The Men’s group meets approximately once a month on Saturday morning for coffee and donuts, and often works on maintenance and upkeep projects around the church.
Outdoor Ministries
Dunkirk Conference Center, a camp and conference center of the United Church of Christ overlooking Lake Erie, offers summer camps for all ages and special interest workshops. Pick up a brochure at the Faith Alive Activity Board near the sanctuary or visit www.dunkirkcc.com
Youth Group
The Youth Group for young people in grades 7-12 is currently inactive. In the past youth have participated in fellowship and service to the church and community.

Fall Food Drive begins today. Faith will begin collecting non-perishable food items. There will be a box in the hallway for your donations.

The Craft Show will be held on Friday October 16th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday October 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Come and check out all the amazing craft items for sale! And it is never too early to start Christmas shopping! Hot dogs will be available on Saturday.

There will be a Congregational meeting following worship on Sunday, October 18th for the purpose of voting on the 2027 church budget and the church refresh project. Please plan to attend this important meeting.

Tuesday, October 20th Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, October 25th is Stewardship Kick-off. Blessing of the costumes. Trunk or Treat will be held in the church parking lot and following worship there is an Endowment Committee Meeting.

Sunday, November 1st is Remembrance Sunday, during worship we will be lighting a candle and naming aloud loved ones and members of our congregation who have died over the past year. Please give the name of those you would like to honor to Angella (secretary@faithunitedchurchucc.com), 716-941-3529 or write the name of your loved one on the list located on bulletin board outside the church office.
